The Pet Goat was founded back in 2004 to release A Fashionable Disease's self titled 7". Since then the label has expanded into the realm of handmade and pro CD-rs, tapes, and net releases by other noise and experimental artists. The label has also released two CD compilations entitled "Ass Jazz" Vols 1 and 2 featuring bands that combine jazz with noise, punk, or metal. The Pet Goat has released albums by artists such as Al Qaeda, |**| ("Gate"), Torturing Nurse, Hal Hutchinson, Lycanthrope Legions of Noise, IAO Core, RedSK, and many more.
