Bio

KIRA is the harsh noise/power electronics project of recording artist Vincent Ceraso, based in Sewell, New Jersey, USA. KIRA is a "sequel" to Ceraso's predecessor noise project Blutbad, which had twenty-three releases before leaving it behind to pursue KIRA. The debut self-titled demo "KIRA (Demo)" was released in October 2015, and unlike Blutbad, this debut demo was very well-received by noise enthusiasts.. What started out as strictly harsh noise wall soon turned into power electronics and industrial, but still keeping in touch with traditional HNW. The KIRA tapes usually consist of one to three or more tracks, and are often times written as concept albums, with dark themes surrounding the music, such as World War 2, for example. Influences include Prurient, Vomir, Merzbow, Full of Hell and Nine Inch Nails.
