History
Close Minded Girl is a noise/improv project created and directed by Kairi Parker Shikari. The project started around 2003 with Kairi's new found fascination with noise and its related genres. Starting out as The Entity, the project played a number of gigs featuring different members for each gig, and a different setup every time, a modus operandi that continues to this day. A number of recordings were made but not released. As of 2013, the project has been resurrected as Close Minded Girl, and a number of recordings are starting to surface, many taken from live performances.
