Millipede is the alias of Knoxville/Chattanooga, Tennessee musician Joseph Davenport. Early releases were all related to the Legend of Zelda videogame series with titles that reflected characters and places from the series. Not all releases are related to Zelda though. The project's focus has been the blending of harsh noise and the most abrasive aspects of late 1980s and early 1990s shoegaze mostly through walls of overblown multitracked guitar but also incorporating elements of power electronics, tape music, and musique concréte.
