Versus Silhouette is a laptop & freewares one-man noise unit from Montreal, QC, Canada.


Versus :

Opposition; comparison.


Silhouette :

Black shape against a pale background; shape or drawing with schematic outlines.


Versus Silhouette :

Opposition to the vague form from which the essence must be deduce. Versus Silhouette confronts the noise to hear the signal, hunts down the ghost to reach the signification.


Versus Silhouette :

A revolt that emerges against the day, the muffled rumbling of incoming rage, a black cloud on the horizon, the masquerade that precedes insurgency.

Sound art that navigates and gets lost amongst its own semantics.
