Briefing

Completely Gone Recordings is an experimental music label and audio / visual studio founded in 1988, by musician, artist and engineer Nicholus Parrott. It originally operated under the name Hot Damn! Tapes and released 30 cassettes (+ 5 CDr's) on a local level, until 2006, when the label's name was switched to Completely Gone Recordings, and it began operating online.

Online, CGR published music via The Internet Archive, but eventually relocated to Bandcamp in 2016. CGR merged with the Dutch noise label Takkeherrie Recordings in 2018 (a label originally founded by Ruben de Haan, in 2006). Takkaherrie has kindly reissued many early CGR titles since then. Approximately 400 individual releases have been published by Completely Gone Recordings, as of today.
