Biography

Kosmik Leprechaun (aka The Song Cycle, Kisama!, Kosmische Clutharachán, etc.) is the main pet-project of the American musician, artist and engineer Josh McCurdy and has been musically active since 1988, although he didn't take things seriously until 1995, after the demise of his previous band, Moldy Ghetto. Kosmik Leprechaun began as a psychedelic indie solo project, though changed into many forms over the years. All his early music was recorded on 4-track cassette machines, until 2003, when he began to experiment heavily with synthesizers, sequencers and digital editing software. Through the years, KL has collaborated with many musicians and artists which have been featured on his albums. Each Kosmik Leprechaun album varies in style from the previous. And the majority of his music is published via his label Completely Gone Recordings.
