The Funeral of Hoverjer is Dr. Failure's sixteenth noise album. August 19, 2019 was Dr. Failure's first day of classes as a college Sophomore. After he got out of his last class of the day, at around 9:00 p.m., he went straight to his studio and recorded this album, start to finish. The theme of the album, the "Funeral of Hoverjer" comes from a video about a man who claimed to have traveled to the year 10,000 CE, in which he landed in a city referred to as "Hoverjer". In said story, he mentioned a great war against the Norzbit race, and how the city of Hoverjer was a product of the war and all that. Regardless if said story was true or not, Dr. Failure took quite an interest in the story, and decided to make an album based off of that.
