Spanakopita (Greek Spinach Pie)

This is an authentic, really rich pie stuffed with spinach, onions, cheeses and herbs that are all enfolded by crispy, flaky phyllo dough.

Spanakopita is a popular Greek savory pie made of perfectly flaky phyllo dough with a comforting filling of spinach and feta cheese nestled in. If youxe2x80x99re not familiar with phyllo dough, it is basically layered sheets of tissue-thin pastry dough, typically found in the freezer section next to things like pie crust and puff pastry.

Spanakopita was breakfast today...

Is that the next thing or a current thing?
$15 authentic artisan hand made butters and milk fat creams?

I may be down for some of that.

Our traditional New Years Day meal.

Black eyed peas with ham hocks, collards seasoned with bacon, and cornbread.
