Biography

Moldy Ghetto was an experimental indie noise-rock group formed by singer / songwriter Josh McCurdy (later known as Kosmik Leprechaun), with input from Jeff Hassett (later known as hCrink). The band was active from 1993 — 1996; and went through many drummers. Initially, MG published and released homemade 4-track cassette recordings of their material, via McCurdy's label, known as Hot Damn! Tapes. In 1995, MG merged with singer-songwriter Deny Samoree, forming the indie-rock group known as Rusty-Like. RL would often be the opening band for MG's gigs. All surviving MG material was eventually re-published in digital format by Completely Gone Recordings in 2007.
